Il progetto degli hula hoop ricoperti di spine di rosa nasce dal desiderio di rappresentare visivamente, in modo sia feroce che ironico, la disillusione che si insinua man mano che cresciamo e diventiamo adulti; con la maturità, non possiamo più continuare a giocare, e l'ultimo frammento romantico, simboleggiato dalle spine di rosa, può solo ferirci.

The project of rose thorn-covered hula hoops stems from the desire to visually represent, both fiercely and ironically, the disillusionment that creeps in as we grow into adulthood; as we mature, we can no longer keep playing, and the last romantic remnant, symbolized by the rose thorns, can only wound us.
