L'opera interpreta criticamente i canoni di bellezza attuali che prevedono donne troppo magre. La seduta, pensata per un fruitore che occupa uno spazio minimo, diviene la metà. La sezione dipinta color oro spinge all'estremo la lettura dell'opera facilitandola: come un rebus semplicistico su un problema complicato e difficile da risolvere. Il titolo dell'opera richiama ironicamente i canoni di bellezza della scultura nell'antichità.

The work critically interprets the current canons of beauty, where women are too slim. The seat, designed for a user who takes up minimal space, becomes halved. The gold-painted section pushes the reading of the work to the extreme, making it easier: as a simplistic puzzle of a complicated and difficult problem to solve. The work’s title ironically recalls the canons of beauty of ancient sculptures.
