Il celebre romanzo è stato scomposto in fogli per poi essere ricomposto sotto forma di origami. Questo perché quando leggiamo e come se ci imbarcassimo su una barca di carta, senza tuttavia mai andarcene. La barca, che nell'immaginario collettivo è legata al viaggio, rappresenta la possibilità di allontanarci con la mente e la spensieratezza dell’età infantile. L'origami è una tecnica raffinatissima giapponese per creare sculture con la carta. Sculture che sono anche il gioco più economico al mondo.
