Entula 2010

Description: Wind Shelter
Material : Kevlar
Size : about 8 sqm
Designed by Eleonora Todde, Daniela and Francesca Manca

White in colour, non-invasive neither for colour nor for size, this shelter sets out to resemble a pebble smoothed by the wind and transported from who knows where. The wind will go on carrying it along the little cove, letting its travel stop as it dies down; small holes on its surface will leave ephemeral traces on the sand that will disappear with a puff, to be rewritten again to infinity. The shelter’s name, Entula, means wind in the Sardinian language.
This way, we want to pay tribute to our land.
